Jamie Oliver\’s TED prize speech
Jamie Oliver is a british chef that is pushing for change concerning obesity and it’s related illnesses. Personally, he is one of my hero’s for the attention he is bringing to obesity, bringing awareness back to healthy eating, cooking at home and providing children with the best possible start to life by teaching them about food, health and nutrition. He recently received an award for his efforts and had the opportunity to make a wish to the public of America. You can view his powerful and informative speech using the link here.
Jamie’s Wish:
“I wish for your help to create a strong, sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again and empower people everywhere to fight obesity.”
