Popiah

Popiah is a type of fresh spring roll filled mainly with grated turnips and can also contain prawns, egg, peanuts, chinese sausage, other greens and chilli. It’s quite a healthy lunch option (even 1 roll makes a good inbetween snack if you’re hungry).  However, make sure you ask for NO LARD which will lower the fat content.

The perfect lunch for ladies would be to have 2 rolls (376 calories) or for men 3 rolls (564 calories) (Note:  if you’re an active female 3 rolls would be fine too) with a bottle of water to wash it down.
