Avocado – Extremely rich in healthy fats, vitamins a,b,c,e,k & an excellent source of potassium.

Yes Agree…. I actually encourage people to use avocado instead of margarine/butter when making sandwiches as it’s a healthier option and contains more health promoting ‘goodness’. However, It should just be eaten with portion control due to the calorie content.
Thanks for your comments – I really enjoy your interaction.

I do not understand the ratings for some of the above fruits. Eg. dragon fruit which has only 8g sugar and though it has 60 calories, that’s not considered too much isn’t it? And guava, which is often touted as another weight management fruit besides apples becos of its fibre content, earns a low rating above? Then what is the “contains 5.3g Fat” at the bottom left of the ratings table referring to? Thanks.

Hi… just to keep it simple only the calories have been considered with the rating. The fruit has been rated on per 100g or where relevant simply 1 portion (ie. banana) – if you look down the list it goes from lowest to highest calories per portion size.
It does get too complicated to factor in Glycaemic index, fibre content, nutritional profile etc… so this is just used a basic guide on calories.
Hope that explains it somewhat.
