MR 500: Dragon Boat Regatta

Aussie Aussie Aussie – oi oi oi! My paddling team Austcham Paddle Club competed in the 1st dragon boat regatta of 2011 at Marina Bay set over a 500 metre course running from the barrage up towards the flyer.
Overall from the weekend, we didn’t return with our usual haul of medals – but we did leave having gained loads of experience for our new paddlers in the team and for the usual faces amongst us – a push in the right direction and motivation for the rest of the year.
Can’t wait for the next regatta…. Aussie Aussie Aussie – oi oi oi!
