2010 Singapore Blog Awards

2010 Singapore Blog Awards

After months of blogging, rallying, voting, shout outs, forums, track backs, tweets and updates the winners of the 2010 Singapore Blog Awards were announced on Saturday.

There was dancing, singing, costumes, fashion parades, games of bloggo (bingo), prizes, give-aways, interviews, speeches, celebrities, lots of food, drinks and great company and that’s before any winners were even announced!

Being new to the blogging community in Singapore I was looking around for familiar faces buying drugs online without prescription from the other finalists blog photos but it was just too jam packed to move throughout the crowd too easily.   So I’ve had to go back to the Blog Awards Site and trawl through all the nominees to match faces and awards: http://sgblogawards.omy.sg/

A big congratulations to Violet Lim – Diary of a Matchmaker that won the award for the Most Insightful Blog Category that I was nominated in.  I think all the winners were very deserving and I was especially happy to see Camemberu win Best Food Blog as I personally go to her blog and read it every day.

I’ve uploaded a few photos as proof I was there – but I don’t think I’ll give up my day job any time soon to become a photographer.  The photos are completely blurred and dark and I was sitting to the side of the stage so have the worst angle possible!  Oh well…

Thanks to everyone that voted for me and sent their well wishes – Keep reading Health Guru and hopefully I’ll be nominated again next year!

    Congrats on reaching the “almost” top. Really enjoy your blog…keep supplying the great information…..not bad for a young Aussie Girl from the bush. Congratulations once again pleased the Awards evening was a great social event.
